Hello you guyz, it’s been a minute, hope everything is going well in your lives. I missed y’all but wasn’t feel great but Alhamdoulilah I’m better so let’s gooooo:)

@ Julie Kouamo
Julie Kouamo is a textile & interior designer of Malian & French ancestry. As an artist, she lets her imagination run free on her print, textile & wallpaper designs . Julie is inspired by nature, colors, climate conditions, vegetation, her various trips around the world & her Cameroonian origins. Miss Kouamo studied at one of the best fashion school in London, the St Martins School of Art. Listening to her interview with the French Radio London, I grasp that not only is she an artist but she’s really aware of the business aspect of things (tres important). In the same interview she candidly shares how challenging it is as an artist to be her own boss, indeed she has to be motivated & disciplined to keep working , searching , bref moving forward.

@ Julie Kouamo
She travells around the world to attend design workshops and salons to showcase her work, this is how she met in 2011 the people over at the NYC design firm ABC who comissioned a cushion collection around the NYC Bridge theme. This year, she was invited to participate at the Maison & Objet Exhibit 2013.Personally, i find her designs dreamy, I particularly am in love with her notebook Bangou collection, her Nenta Sofa textile print work & the Dungenese collection, go check her out: www.juliekouamo.com
