If a young woman is beautiful but has no discipline, she will lose her looks as she grows older. If a plain woman is disciplined she will undoubtedly become more beautiful with time” Sophia Loren For startup here is  my beauty routine: Je m’enduis de karate before taking a shower avec une noisette d’huile d’amande . Step 2 :Take a shower with traditional Malian soap or wonderful smelling bar of soap (i loveeeee soaps), wash my face with l’occitane honey soap (cheap and so good) After shower, if my skin still feels a bit  dry un poco d’huile et c’est tout:) I love fruity ,dandyish perfume so selon  my feeling of the day,  I debate over pamplemousse, flowery, citrusy, orangy, ambreish, vanillaish scents:) Usually a touch of Lipgloss or chapstick qui me plait & I’m out & when I want to make a bigger effort, a darker lipstick and I’m off! C’est tout. When I read on

As I’m maturing as a woman, it gets clearer 2 me that life is full of colorful moments some …..happy as pink, some …. merdeux as black . But when we try to keep our optimism, our faith in Allah it can be a succession of great adventures. “Vis chaque jour comme si tu allais vivre 100 ans.Vis comme si tu vivais le dernier jour de ta vie” Ibn Arabi-Sufi Mystic & Philosopher

Hey you guys so I’ve been looking online for videos describing the journey of young people who went to Mecca for pilgrimage.I don’t know if that I’m not lucky but I couldn’t find videos that really touched me until I found this video of this loving African American couple travelling from Kansas City to Mecca & Medina. I spent an entire hour following th their journey, I felt their tears, their joy at being in the Holly city . I’m striving to get to that spiritual level where I can really appreciate such a trip & I hope to one day accomplish this duty with my husband InchAllah! Here’s the video enjoy: A big thank you to that couple as well , thanks for inspiring me and probably so many others:) Yaye

J’aime vraiment beaucoup …OUI,  I enjoy her sweet and melodious vibe. When we usually think of Angolan music usually, we tend to think  of Kuduru music echididii ehh echididi .Well, you’ll be glad to know that  there are other type of artists there like Aline who’s influenced by Cape Verdean, jazz music,African rythm & bossanova. Aline Fell in love with music at age 9, wrote her first songs at age 15 but it was later on in her early twenties while she lived in Brazil that she dipped seriously in the music field. Aline played at various bars, cafe concert places, bref wherever she could do what she likes best;playing live music. When you listen to her music, the way she dresses , carries herself , it’s easy to see that she’s a nomad at heart. Her gypsy mindset is reflected through her first album entitled ” Clave Bantu”, she

I totally get what executive producer Nosarieme Garrick is trying non will do with this 8 Parts documentary (the series will be available mid 2013) on what  Africans are really doing.I gets the project so much because that’s what my webbie is about; showing our talents and our thirst for growth.Nosa has written for publications like Afripop,Sahara Reports so she knows what she’s talking about. In the trailer she goes to her home country Nigeria and meets up with a nigerian photography collective and follows them as they carry on with their projects. In the kickstarter video she interviews people like Sean Jacobs  the founder of “Africa is a country”, Tigist Selam an Ethiopian German actress and other fabulous african media key players .So the plan is to start shooting in Africa starting October, meeting young people with cool ideas making it and bringing social change in our continent. There’s a big
